Ain't Nothin' But the Blues is an awesome venue! It is TINY so don't worry if you see your date squeezing up to someone else! The drinks are cheap (I've never tried the food) although it's a bit of a struggle to get to the bar, but then that's not why you go there. The music and the atmosphere are what it is all about. It's really relaxed and totally unpretentious. Tucked away down a side street it is a real London gem and I guarantee your date will be impressed.
My tip? Get there early if you want to have a chance! It's a great place to begin a date. Lively with a wicked atmosphere... then you can head somewhere a bit calmer with room to breath!
