For an easily accessible and fun day trip out of London, hop on the train to Brighton (from either London Bridge or London Victoria) and enjoy the Regency architecture in this much-loved City by the sea.
This date should suit nearly everyone, as there's loads to do and see. We suggest a fun, slightly childish date finished with a romantic supper.
Start off by heading to Brighton Pier, there is an arcade so you could win your date a tacky stuffed animal or teddy bear, and then have a go on some of the rides. We especially love the Super Booster which goes from 0 to 60 mph in less that 3 seconds!
When you've had your adrenaline fill, release the inner tourist in you by having some fish and chips. What else?! Then we suggest you have a wander around the infamous Century shopping Lanes, or for the more romantic, shopping free option, take a stroll along the beach.
Once you've watched the sun set, and you've snogged on the beach like teenagers, head to Santiago for dinner. The setting is perfect; it's in the heart of the lively pedestrianised beachfront area between the two piers. Every table has sea views, and the food is delicious.
If you’re thinking of making a weekend of it, then go for the rock ‘n’ roll option and stay at Hotel Pelirocco, a boutique and hip hotel where you can choose to stay in rooms like the “Durex Play Room.” Say no more..!
