Broadway Market is the perfect sunny saturday date, you can have a stroll along the canal before perusing the market, stopping to enjoy the impromptu musicians halfway through, pick up a coffee and relax on the deck chairs provided before choosing from the amazing selection of cheshire cheeses, british balsamics, caribbean coconuts, fresh fish and buttered baguettes and relaxing with a bottle in London Fields...
Just a short walk from Bethnal Green tube station, Broadway Market is an amazing road, just off Regents Canal, filled with stalls selling a huge array of produce, from chorizo to cupcakes, with plenty of fish, bread and olives in between! Flanked by sweet little boutiques and cafes, and with a real mixture of different foods, jewellery, art and clothing. We walked up and down the market a couple of times to see what was on offer and then made our purchases of food which we took up to London Fields, at the other end of the market, picking up a bottle of wine on the way and finishing off with a delicious picnic in the sunshine. Perfect.
