Brick Lane and the surrounding area is an absolutely ideal date venue if you want to escape the suit filled bars of the City. Named after the brick manufacturing that went on in the area, it's now heart of London's Bangledeshi community, and boasts an amazing array of colourful curry houses. There are loads of great places to eat (Preem, or Sheba are two of the best known) including some BYO bottle options (including Aladin, endorsed by HRH Prince Charles no less!) for those of us struggling with the credit crunch! Just head on down and take you're pick.
After you've eaten, take your date for a few drinks and maybe even show them some of your signature moves in one of the great bars in the area. 93 Feet East and Vibe Bar are good places to start, or if you want something a litte different, head to Cafe Kick for a bit of competitive sport. Remember girls… boys hate to lose, so if you really like him you should think about throwing the game!
Now… if you want to really lay on the fromage, and the date has gone well, get onto Amazon, buy a copy of the novel Brick Lane, and present that to your intented on your next date… genius.
