Go to Amuse Bouche in Soho for a first date. It is a champagne bar by name but also has all the usual cocktail list suspects. It is reasonably priced with 2 for 1 offers and ample leather seating.

It is in a central location so ideal if you both live in different parts of london and being in Soho, finding somewhere to eat after if the date goes well is no problem at all.

If it does go well and you want to go for dinner, try getting a table at Bocca di Lupo (Italian) or Dehesa (Spanish).

If your date is not impressed by this then move on to your next conquest!
