Milk & Honey is officially a members bar, but don't let this put you off - you can usually get a table on weeknights as long as you call ahead. The only other stumbling block is finding it! Milk & Honey is hidden away behind a completely plain black door and unless you know what you're looking for, your hopes of exuding 'in the know' smoothness my suffer. We suggest a pre-date reconnaissance mission to avoid embarrassment. 

Once you're in (and your eyes become accustomed to the incredibly low-light) you'll realise what a cracking date venue you've found. Jazz in the background, a classic cocktail in hand (ask the staff for advice… they know everything you could possibly want to know), and you're set.

If you want to spend the night here they do pretty good nibbly food, but if you want dinner before or after, then here are a couple of ideas in the area. At one end of the spectrum there's Bodean's. Not one for the veggies's, this is a classic American style bbq rib shack and it is delicious! If you want a little more sophistication then head the other way down Poland St to Yauatcha for some Michelin starred Dim Sum in seriously cool surroundings.
