Located at the rougher end of the Liverpool Road, you'll be surprised to find the high quality French restaurant Morgan M. It has been around for a while now and by some accounts has had its ups and downs - but we're sure you wont be disappointed with a foodie date adventure. The atmosphere is somewhere between formal and relaxed with the clientele comfortable in suits and jeans alike. Perhaps not a great location for a first date as not only is it on the pricier side but the atmosphere can vere towards hushed tones so you wouldn't want to get to know each other with people listening at the next door table!

We advise you get an earlyish booking if you can as this is not fast food and if you're enjoying something a bit special you want to take your time over it. You can order a la carte here but the tasting menu is really the way to go -  then you get the full experience and that's what you're there for after all. All the food is seasonal so the menu changes regularly but expect fish and game and there is always a souffle on the menu for dessert so Morgan M tells us!

                    

The service is great and unobtrusive - they'll make you feel really looked after - and make sure you ask lots of questions. You'll also get a visit from Morgan M himself towards the end of the meal which is a bit pressured if you're on a date so try and think of some questions in advance!

Once you've eaten every last mouthful of the delicious food and savoured the wine we suggest you head for a post match foodie chat at Albert and Pearl for a pre-retiring cocktail or two! Absolutely delicious and sure to cleanse the palate!
