Date Description

early daysfirst date Central

Just about everybody knows how great The Natural History Museum is. What fewer people know however, is that on the last friday of every month, this wonderful museum is open until 10pm, with free admission, food, drink and even live jazz.

For this date we suggest meeting at the venue itself. The Natural History Museum looks so stunning when lit up at night that you really can't top it as a romantic meeting place. Start with a drink in the iconic Central Hall, which plays host for these museum 'lates'. There's a bar of course, complete with live jazz to get you in the mood.

After a bit of a loosener, the real draw of these evenings are the special monthly events held to conincide with the late opening. Whether it's wildlife photography, a 'sexual attraction masterclass' or a night time tour of the main gallery (it's got Ben Stiller's 'Night at The Museum' written all over it!), you're sure to find something fascinating to keep you entertained.

It is possible to get food here if you order in advance - they offer special 'supper salads' if you're up for a 'picnic-style' supper. However for this date we're going to suggest you scuttle out post exhibition for a cheeky bite to eat at La Bouchee. This wonderful French restaurant, oozing with laid back romance, is the perfect hideaway to discuss the evening's entertainment over a bottle of red. You're in South Ken after all, which lets face it, may as well be France!

If you're still up for continuing the date post frog's legs, you'll find the now world famous Boujis just up the road, where you can dance the night away to your hearts content. If you're lucky, you might even bump into a Royal...
