The perfect summer date! Bring a picnic, chill out in the gardens and enjoy a spot of alfresco theatre. With an outside bar open after the show, this date has success written all over it.
This is an absolute classic... food, drink, culture and possibly more opportunities for the textbook 'yawn to arm round shoulder' move, than any other date. In terms of preparation it's pretty simple - you have three options. Either pop into M&S or Waitrose and pick up some wine and nibbles from the deli counter, or step up a level by going online and creating your own gourmet hamper to be delivered (don't forget a wine cooler if going for option one - warm Sancerre will not impress!). Easiest by far, but probably the least romantic, is to get stuck in to the BBQ next to the bar inside the theatre.
