If you lack the dance moves to impress your date, let the professionals do the impressing for you... A cultural date, with a fun supper and a few drinks.
So you want to do a "culture" date but a play or musical just isn't your thing? Why not try something a bit different? Sadler's Wells is the premier London venue for touring ballet, dance and opera, attracting international companies of worldwide acclaim. It can be slightly hit and miss with what it shows but a bit of research before you book should throw up some sensible reviews. We particularly like the flamenco (for example Paco Pena, king of passionate flamenco shows, which tends to visit annually).

We recommend you order interval drinks when you get there so you don’t have to queue with the crowd. This way, come interval time, you'll get a few extra minutes to have your drink and fire up the chat (you'll get some frosty stares if you try and do too much chatting when the dance or opera is on stage!).
A good post theatre option is Moro. It is a fantastic Moorish-influenced restaurant with a great atmosphere, eclectic clientle and delicious food. Make sure you book Moro in advance, as it's very popular with the post-theatre crowd.

There are a number of great bars in Exmouth Market to choose between for a cheeky nightcap - for more info see our Exmouth Market date.
