A really great date - a bit of culture at the Royal Academy of Art which gives a talking point for dinner (particularly useful if it's a first date or early days). We recently took advantage of a special offer - the Anish Kapur exhibition followed by a 3 course dinner at Fortnum & Mason for £35 a head.

If you're not really in the mood for old school (formal) dining, there are plenty of other places in the area (or you could skip dinner and head out for drinks instead to keep the date more casual).

The Royal Academy is open until late on Friday and Saturday evenings.... this is my new favourite way to unwind on a Friday evening.
