This place is so quirky and unexpected it makes for a great date. Heading up to the front door of a tiny pub in Finsbury Park your date isn't going to be that excited, but once you get inside.... if it's a grim day head to the back room which is full of picnic tables and has a great atmosphere - very laid back and "local". But, the real point of coming here is the beer garden so try and pick a nice day! Take a look at the virtual tour on their website to get an idea of how awesome the garden is:

Every inch of space has been used and as a result you feel like an extra in some kind of children's adventure novel - it's brilliant!

Would be perfect for a summery first date.
