Date Description |
|
Swap rosé for delicious mulled wine, t-shirts for chunky scarfs and overcrowded Clapham Common for beautifully empty Regent's Park. Apart from the evil necessity of a thermos flask this is a very cool date and very romantic.
If you are organising the date, it's your job to pack the picnic and as it's winter, remember that hot drinks and a rug or two will be essential. Meet your date at Baker Street tube station and head to the park. After you have eaten your picnic and have cuddled under the stars, you might want to warm up a bit, so we suggest you head to a bar.

Lowlife is a cool cocktail bar housed in the basement at 34 Paddington Street. They have regular DJ nights and live music on Wednesdays. The decoration is funky, with spray painted walls and retro furniture. The drinks menu is styled like a cult comic book and the cocktails are unpretentious and delicious. This isn't a "stylish" bar, but it fits perfectly with the picnic date.

![]() | Great suggestion Such a great suggestion! I'd also recommend Richmond Park on a Sat/Sun afternoon. You could pack a picnic lunch then head to Richmond for a few drinks afterwards before getting the train back in to town... Reviewer : Sarah Submitted : 2010-12-13 22:12:31 |
