Theatre is always great for a date, and never more so than when it is a small theatre away from the often over-priced West End.
We would recommend meeting your date at the Lighthouse pub first, a real favourite with all of us here at the GDG. It has a great atmosphere, is really informal and serves delicious food - you'll even get a romantic candle on your table! To celebrate the opening of their new show "Peter and Vandy", which is a love story set in New York, the theatre are offering a 2 for 1 'First Date' ticket offer during the first two weeks of the production from 2nd - 14th March.
Peter and Vandy is a mischievous dark comedy for anyone who’s ever been in a relationship, and it has been nominated for the US Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. This production would make a great first date, and the theatre is worth remembering as a great dating venue in general - something a little different, which is never a bad thing.
